Delete my account
You delete your account yourself, from the app, without writing to us. Here is where it is, and what goes with it.
From the app, in two taps
- Open Arvel, then Settings (Profile tab, top right).
- Scroll down to “Delete my account”, in the Privacy & data section.
- One last confirmation is asked. Deletion is immediate and final.
An order whose money has not reached its destination yet blocks deletion: the money from a purchase has to end up somewhere.
What goes
- Your profile, your bio and your artist shopfront
- Your published works and your news
- Your favourites, follows and messages
What stays, and why
Invoices and the history of your past sales are kept because accounting and tax law requires it. An invoice keeps the name of both parties; your profile, your gallery, your messages and your contact details are gone.
No longer have the app?
Write to bonjour@arvel.be from your account’s email address. We delete the account and let you know once it is done, within 30 days at the latest.
